When you think you know it all, you realize you know nothing

I feel as though I should have started blogging a long time ago, but that doesn’t surprise me seeing that I am always behind on trends.   I cannot tell you what truly inspired me to start a blog.  It could be my PR/Social Media savvy roommate who is a constant reminder that social media is so important (Thanks Katy) or the many great photographers in San Diego that I have had the opportunity to work with whose careers have benefited from their blogs.

Since I started photographing, I’m constantly surprised by how much I do not know.  Luckily, I am surrounded by people who only want to help me better my career.

My intention with starting a blog is that I want to experiment how it will affect me professionally and personally.  I want to develop while keeping a detailed record and gather some feedback along the way.  I intend to blog about photo shoots; the good and the bad, the horrible gut wrenching “I can’t belive I messed up that bad” mistakes (we all make them) and especially the “wow I love what I do” moments.   I want to share interesting stories, opinions, what I learn and what you can learn from me.  I want to be able to look back on my early blogs and think “I really didn’t know anything.”

I can’t tell you which type of blog will come first or when my next post will be, but most importantly today, I want to thank you for reading my first blog post!
